This website is owned and run by Gisborne Pain and Terminal Care Trust Inc (Hospice Tairawhiti).

These terms apply to the entire contents of this site and social media platforms.  By viewing and using this site/platform you agree to these terms.

  2. use a robot or other automated means to access the Site or information featured on it for any purpose. 

4.     Use of Links

Throughout our Web pages, we provide links to other servers which may contain information of interest to our readers. We take no responsibility for, and exercise no control over, the organizations, views, or accuracy of the information contained on other servers. Creating a text link from your Web site to our site does not require permission.

5.     Use of Text and Images

All trade marks, copyrighted materials, images of people or places appearing on this website are either the property of, or used with permission by Hospice Tairawhiti.  The use of these images by you or anyone else authorised by you, is prohibited unless specifically permitted.  If you would like to publish information that you find on our Web site, please send your request to admin@hospicetairwhiti.org.nz

6.     Social Media

When you use any of our social media pages, you agree that you will comply with the terms of use of that social media platform.

When you make a post or comment on any of our social media pages, you give us permission to repost and use that content within that social media platform. We will ask for your express consent in the event we wish to use the content outside of that platform.

Hospice Tairawhiti is not responsible for the content of any third party posts, comments or tweets on any of its social media pages. We monitor our social media pages daily and, although we will endeavour not to remove posts and to promote free speech, we reserve the right to remove or report any posts, comments or tweets, for example if we deem them to be inappropriate, offensive, factually incorrect, or promote violence, discrimination or illegal activity.

We have a zero-tolerance approach to the use of obscene language on any of our social media platforms.  In serious cases, we also reserve the right to block repetitively offensive users from our social network pages.

7.     Refund and Cancellation Policy

Donations are non-refundable, however Hospice Tairawhiti will consider exceptional circumstances for refunds of donations.  If you have made a donation you need to withdraw or dispute please contact us at admin@hospicetairawhiti.org.nz, or 06 869 0552.

We do not accept donations or data from EU citizens due to the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation.  If you are an EU citizen and wish to donate to us, please contact us by telephone: +64 6 869 0552

Refunds for purchases made from Hospice Tairawhiti, whether new or used, will comply with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and its amendments.

8.     Receipts

Receipts for donations will be issued within 7-10 working days. Receipts for regular giving donations will be issued at the end of each financial year.
