Looking for a nursing role where you have the time to give patients the care they need?
We have a fantastic opportunity for a registered nurse to join our multi-disciplinary team. Working in the community, this position focuses on clinical assessment and care co-ordination, ensuring good quality care and support for patient and family, in accordance with Hospice philosophy.
Based in Gisborne City, this role also has a focus on our rural patients, working in partnership with Māori healthcare providers and rural healthcare staff to promote and support the delivery of effective best practice palliative care for those in rural areas.
We are seeking someone with great clinical assessment and interpersonal skills, who is confident working in the community setting. Previous palliative experience is not required as full training will be given.
The successful applicant will work regular hours (Mon-Friday, 8am to 5pm) and share weekend and after hours call responsibilities with the community team based on staffing levels (currently 1 in 5). This is a 0.8fte position but could be extended to full-time for the right candidate.

Hourly rate - $31.91 to $45.70 per hour, depending on experience.
