The Fundamentals of Palliative Care is a nationally recognized programme developed by Hospice NZ. It is a series of learning packages designed for any health care worker – registered and non-registered staff – who are caring for people with a palliative care need. This year the complete series will be covered in a two day workshop on 22 and 24 March, and again on 20 and 21 September.
If you have begun the series when they were in separate sessions and have only completed a few, you are encouraged to participate for the full two days. If, on the other hand, you only have a few sessions that you have not completed, you can participate for only those portions. An agenda will be published prior to those dates.
