The aim of this national programme developed by Hospice NZ is to assist Registered Nurses to obtain the theoretical and practical knowledge and skills they require to manage syringe drivers in their place of practice and for enrolled nurses to be competent in checking. It is recommended the course be completed annually. It will be offered from 9am-12pm on 24 March, 9 June, 1 September and 1 December in the Poutama Room, Gisborne Hospital.
The on-line training portion may be available again starting April 2021.
