I grew up in the small-coastal town of Kakanui, just south of Oamaru. I moved to Christchurch when I finished school to begin my training, graduating in mid-2016.
I made the move to sunny Gisborne and got my first nursing job at Kiri Te Kanawa, where I had been working as health care assistant during my studies. This is where my passion for palliative care developed. I was delighted to join the hospice team at the beginning of 2018 and look forward to beginning post-graduate study in 2019.
