I was born in the small Waikato town of Morrinsville and raised both there and in the rural area of Mangatangi at the bottom of the Bombay Hills. Having lived in Gisborne for more than 40 years I guess I can now call myself a local.
Having experience in a variety of administration settings, including small business, a large food processing company, local body, and a government department I finally found the perfect role at Hospice Tairawhiti, starting as Administrator and moving on to Chief Executive.
My mother and mother-in-law were both patients of the service and I am forever grateful for the wonderful care and support they, and our families received. I know that this level of care is provided to all our patients and families, regardless of their circumstances or beliefs.
